Ekin launches intelligent AI-based traffic system
Ekin has launched a mobile and portable intelligent traffic control system in the United States that it says offers data collection capabilities to improve traffic and parking management.
“The Ekin X Spotter is designed to provide continuous traffic management and increased safety for drivers, passengers and pedestrians while public safety officers are on the move,” says founder Akif Ekin.
“The flexible design helps agencies streamline data collection and, when used as part of Ekin’s flexible smart city solutions, makes it easier for authorities to understand their cities and create impactful policies that promote the safety and well-being of all residents. “
The product uses artificial intelligence (AI) and high-resolution video sensors to transform cities into smart cities, with analysis of traffic patterns and behavior, vehicle classification and rush hour, according to the company. .
The tool identifies congestion points and problem areas to help cities improve traffic flow and prevent accidents.
The Ekin X Spotter provides officers with automatic license plate recognition (ANPR) and vehicle speed and violation detection capabilities using a 4K motorized zoom image sensor and video recognition technology.
According to Ekin, the system runs ANPR on up to three lanes of traffic, powered by the company’s AI engineering tool software.
The product’s traffic analysis functions include speed, red light violation, tailgating, stopped vehicles and pedestrian detection on roads and highways.
Ekin insists that city authorities can customize the device to collect and analyze the data needed to make informed policy changes, while municipalities can use its Red Eagle software solution to manage data collected by its products across the board. the city.
